According to a recent study published in the January 2010 issue of the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, the "low-calorie" food items that you've been ordering at restaurants and buying off supermarket shelves, may not be so innocuous after all. In fact, they contain significantly more calories than indicated in their nutritional labeling. And beware of those side dishes they serve you gratis at some restaurants, too.
