Smokers Can Reduce The Risk For Lung Cancer By Going For Multivitamins

A new US study, which is due to appear in Cancer Research, claims that smokers can reduce the chances of lung cancer by going for multivitamins, folate, and green leafy vegetables. They help to contain a process known as methylation that interferes with gene signaling. The study, which involved a little over 1,100 current and former smokers, may open up fresh avenues for the struggle against lung cancer and prove important "for the future success of chemopreventive strategies.”
