Vitamin D To Pep Up Your Heart

A recent study presented at the American Heart Association's Scientific Conference concludes vitamin D has to do a lot in preventing heart disease and stroke. Less than desirable levels of this important nutrient can dangerously escalate coronary risk. Needless to say, it's vital to watch out if you're getting adequate quantities of this vitamin from your daily diet or dietary supplement. Also keep in mind that your skin synthesizes vitamin D when exposed to the sun, so ease up on supplements during the summer and step it up during the winter months, especially if you live in colder areas where we tend to stay in during the winter.
