Don't Let Stress Pull You Down

While stress can sometimes come off as a lifesaver, in the long term it gets you undone in more ways than one. Hans Selye, a scientist, pointed out more than 50 years back that stress was a major cause of illness. In fact, stress can have devastating effects on your physical as also mental well-being. It can interfere with digestion and raise cholesterol levels. If all this sounds familiar, it's time you fought back. Taking time off for moderate exercise and your favorite pastime can help get rid of this oppressive anxiety that grips you night and day. If you can't do it by yourself, consult a doctor by all means. But break free of this constant tension - life is a lot more enjoyable, in case you thought otherwise...
