Study Finds High Cholesterol Afflicts 20% Of American Teenagers

A national study conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which involved 3,125 young people, has found high cholesterol levels don't only afflict the middle-aged and elderly. High cholesterol is rife amongst the younger generation, also. Dr Ashleigh May, who led the study, voiced concern on the findings and stated teenagers suffering from obesity, high blood pressure and those into smoking should be regularly screened for warning signals. In the unfortunate event you belong to the high-risk group, be more attentive to your diet and lifestyle - next time may be a trifle too late...
