Research Indicates Vitamin D Can Kill Cancer Cells

New research throws light on the potential of vitamin D to shoot down certain types of cancer cells as also its ability to fight diabetes and asthma. Although this doesn't mean the emergence of a definitive therapy to cure cancer, the results are obviously encouraging. JoEllen Welsh, a scientist associated with the State University of New York at Albany, found evidence that a stiff dose of vitamin D can be devastating on human breast cancer cells - something we might expect of Tamoxifen.
